The Nick Cercone Graduate Scholarship was created through donations to IEEE Canadian Foundation. Donations have been made by Nick’s friends, colleagues, students, postdocs, and relatives. As of early 2018, $60,000 have been raised. The IEEE Canadian Foundation — Nick was an IEEE Fellow— holds and invests the funds that have been raised. The interest from the investment guarantees a biennial scholarship of $6,000.
